Hello everyone
Hello.
I apologize for using English (I do not speak French). I am from the US and started out using an HP67 calculator in high school. After a long hiatus, I became interested in HP calculators several years ago and started to collect them. After obtaining an HP71 and discovered how much fun it was using BASIC on that system, I started collecting pocket computers. Currently I have the following systems which I have enjoyed exploring:
Sharp pockets: PC-1211, PC-1212, PC-1246,PC-1262, PC-1350,PC-1360, PC-1403H, PC-1475, PC-1500A, PC-1600, PC-2500, PC-E500, PC-G850VS
Sharp printers: CE-122, CE-123, CE-125, CE-126, CE-129, CE-140, CE-150, CE-1600P
Casio pockets: PB-120, PB-1000, PB-2000, VX-4, Z1GR, Fx-880
Casio printers: FP-12, FA-10, FA-11, FA-12
TI pockets: CC-40, TI-74, TI-95 (with all modules except financial)
TI accessories: PC-324 printer, CI-7 Cassette interface, PC interface cable
HP calculators/pockets: Have one working example of each of the Classic, Woodstock, Spice, and Voyager series calculators. Also own HP 71, HP 41, HP 42.
I have been exploring these pocket computers over the years and have been collecting manuals for these (both in electronic and hardcopy). However, there are some systems I have where an adequate manual doesn't exist outside of Japan and are not available electronically. I created the English version of the Sharp PC-G850VS manual because I wanted an easy reference to explore the capabilities of that powerful machine and have released it to the pocket computer community at the HP Museum to give back what I learned about all of these systems. Currently, I am looking for a manual to explore the PC-2500 (I'm interested to see how to use the plotter and the business software of this system). I hope to be able contribute to the community here and help with the efforts to document how to use these wonderful old systems.
Thanks
Jack Hsu
