The high density connector has double row Solder Connections. This doesn't fit to my PCB.
I can not decide to design a new layout boards, or not.
Currently my board is 24 mm wide and 36 mm long. I appreciate your connector has 30 mm width. The new board would have about 30 x 40 mm.
My Chinese boards manufacturer calculates the price on the basis of size 50 x 50 mm. In this size fit two of my small boards.
The new board fits it only once - and therefore the price of the board would be twice as high. Instead of 1,15 EUR, it would then be 2.30 EUR!
Thus, the total price would be at 21 EUR. And that's what I can not make friends. The total price should be less than 20 EUR.
What do you think, would you accept the higher price for an interface with an original Sharp connector?
