Béta testeurs demandé (pas trop béta quand même ;-)

Salut,

Un camarade allemand (Torsten Mücker) travaille depuis quelques semaines déjà à faire évoluer mes petits outils WAV2BIN, BIN2WAV et BAS2IMG.

Le souci c'est qu'il faudrait tester un peut tout ça avec différentes machines, et compiler aussi pour d'autres OS.

Malheureusement pour ma part, je suis très peu disponible, aussi je fais appel à vous.

Voici un extrait du mail qu'il m'a envoyé :

Hello pocket community,
I had worked on the pocket tools during the last three month and ask you to do some tests with the current release. A lot of pocket computers was added and many problems corrected.
PC-1251 image line modell was finished in Bas2 img.
Also the separate tokens for PC-1421 was implemented, two-byte tokens for PC-1403, 1460 (mixed with one-byte tokens) implemented and some more work done.

Bin2wav writes now multiple data variable blocks made by new wav2bin.

Im looking for somebody to do some tests with PC-1500, PC-1251, PC-1460 and can compile it for other OS than Windows, i.e. apple. Because i have implemented the controll of checksums into wav2bin, there are tests with PC-1500 needed. I asked J. Bohs, but he had lost all his SHARP hardware.

I want to finish my work this month now.

At moment I check, if there is a chance to complete the support for 16-bit waves so.
For that all the sync procedures had to be extended. Maybe someone knows the code and could help me with this.

Salut, je suis un peu bêta, donc je teste, malgré moi

J'abandonne pour l'instant mon 2048 sur PC-G850 et je tente d'utiliser wav2bin à partir d'un PC-1360 > CE-124 -> Audacity 2.0.5 sur du Windows Seven 64 bits
J'ai pris les tools sur le site de pocket, et j'utilise bien sûr les exe de Win64.

Je pense que pour l'instant, je buge sur la config Audacity, voilà ce que j'obtiens:

Le bêta que je suis a fini par trouver, il fallait que j'amplifie le son pour obtenir 1dB, mais ça ne marche que pour le 1360 (pas pour le G850 donc )

Sorry, that I have to answer you in english.

The development is going on. Many problems was solved during the last month.

You can normalize the wave, but it is only necessary if the recording level was very low. A conversion from 16-bit to 8-bit is no longer necessary. 16-bit files are processed stable. Tape recordings, also which were made with a higher CPU frequency (speedup), are readable now. For recordings with speedup the parameter -c must be +/- 5% exactly.

I will perform more tests with the hardware of the PC-1211 and CE-162E and (PC-1500) up to the end of the month and hope that no major problems will be found. Currently I am working on a limited conversion in Bin2wav of the format of numeric field data between PC-1500 and the other models.

All Sharp pocket computer beginning with PC-1100, PC-1210 up to PC-1500A are supported with all tokens and all functions:
BASIC text, BASIC Image, Reserve data, Binary, Variable data.

For PC-E500 and newer models just the command 'CLOAD@' can be used if the pocket computer supports it. An extended format of the PC-1475 is used for this. Please use --pc=E500 and tell me for what models it works.

For direct support of the native format of the new modells, the Pocket tools would have to be largely re-programmed, because a completely different method for bit transmission as in the other models is used. Also, the binary format of the program and the header are much more complex. I currently can not see one who would do this work.

Wav2bin 1.63b2 does support the native Format of SHARP PC-E500 and some newer (G?) now.
Only wave files from BASIC programs are supported: ftp://ftp.ifhe.de/public/SHARP_PC/BIGPC ... ta_win.zip

Yesterday I got a PC-G850S from Japon.
Wav2bin did not work because the 2. file header (BASIC) is different from PC-E500.
Now transfer for PC-G850S with wav2bin_163b7 / bin2wav_145b6 works.
I'm testing - work in progress.
