There are several interface solutions available, check the 'communication' section of my website for an overview. Information concerning serial I/O applies to both, PC-E220 and G850V.

Regarding transfer programs:
If you're a PC user, you can either use
- Windows Terminal application
- a dedicated pocket transfer tool (like PC-Trans, see Simon Leymayr's website)
- a Japanese PCLink program (to be found somewhere on the Japanese web)
If you're a Mac user you could give ZTerm a try.
