Strange CPU / Mod? inside my Apple IIc
Hey guys, long time not posted here but i think this is something only you here can resolve;
I was cleaning this Apple IIc and under the keyboard i found something stange;
In the yellowing of the Apple IIc case was something written like "Example" / Muster
And there is no Sticker with serial or something on this unit

Looks like an all-in-one 65c02+Z80 card for IIc. There was a Z80 card for IIe but it can't fit in a IIc who has no expansion slot. So I think this one is plugged in the original 65c02 socket.

Hey Bubble Bobble, thank you very much !
I have removed the 65c from the expansion board now and put it back to the apple iic mainboard cause this all seems to be a very loose construction...

Hi,
Your A2c is it working with your extension ? or not ?
Z80 for A2c is an interesting extension and running cpm system permit to try many amazing program like mumath...
Normaly, this extension is totaly transparent for the computer, isn't ?

Hey, the previous owner hat this 2c running with the extension.
I opend the case to bleach the system with retro bright.
Yesterday as i wanted to put everything back together i noticed that everything is a bit loose and does not fit 100% perfect.
There is also one broken pin (not used) on this expansion card but like i said the previous owner worked with it so it seems to run. I only refurbish these systems and play a few games on it... i have no need for expansions... so if someone wants this card maybee we could trade ?
