I have access to a ROM3000B and have made a copy of the boot disk with Anadisk, but cannot get it to boot. The ROM 3000B has a ROM3000B utility to backup and format disk's, the utilty runs on the PC and commands the ROM3000. The floppy drive times out when I try to format a floppy and backup fails to read the bootdisk with an id error even though the ROM3000 will boot off the disk.
I believe the ROM3000B has a faulty floppy drive, I have tried a standard 3.5" drive but the drive will not work at all.
Does anyone have any documentation on this system or a spare floppy drive. I know the floppy format is 80 track 720K, but it cannot be read on a PC.
