Hey, my Apple IIc has a broken main PCB
When i connect the Disk Drive it moves and moves and moves...
No chance to load any programm...
It is 100% the PCB cause the DD, Keyboard and Power Supply are fine and tested in another unit...
So i am looking for a working main PCB now... someone ?

Re: Strange CPU / Mod? inside my Apple IIc
Hey, the previous owner hat this 2c running with the extension.
I opend the case to bleach the system with retro bright.
Yesterday as i wanted to put everything back together i noticed that everything is a bit loose and does not fit 100% perfect.
There is also one broken pin (not used) on this expansion card but like i said the previous owner worked with it so it seems to run. I only refurbish these systems and play a few games on it... i have no need for expansions... so if someone wants this card maybee we could trade ?

Strange CPU / Mod? inside my Apple IIc
Hey guys, long time not posted here but i think this is something only you here can resolve;
I was cleaning this Apple IIc and under the keyboard i found something stange;
In the yellowing of the Apple IIc case was something written like "Example" / Muster
And there is no Sticker with serial or something on this unit

Re: Retro Bright success :-)
Hey, there are no visible side effects;
Plastic is just like before, feels the same... only more white ^__^
But personally i would never ever use something with more than 9% !
Some people damaged their stuff but using 15-30% H202 for 6-8 hours kills everything i think
Remember, i only used it for 2-3 hours ! And the results are awesome

Retro Bright success :-)
Today i tested "Retro Bright" for the first time
It was around 2 hours work (dis/assembling, cleaning)
And 3 hours waiting
Results are awesome !
Before;

After;

I used a smooth not so agressive H202; 9% and a bit of Vanish Oxy Action
3 hours under direct sunlight brought back the original color !
